These are weeds, so Carolyn tells me, but Black Eyed Susans nonetheless--and they were EVERYWHERE this summer! We even cut some out and tore some back and there were still a million for the girls to pick. Now it's almost time to cut them back, and we can't wait to see what this next year brings!
We also had amaryllis (naked ladies) ALL OVER the property--I could not believe it, even in the woods! So many little details and lovely things about the property, how could you resist?
