girls upstairs bath

We waffled on whether or not to do the girls upstairs tiny bath at all, now, later, etc...but finally we decided if Scott could fit it in at the end of these jobs, that we'd do it.
We had Eastway come out and do a nice full length glass shower, and a marble pan--really sturdy and tough for lots of play.

The room was taken down to the studs, to rip out the soffitt above the old shower and replce the giant hole in the wall from the cabinet Stulz' crew ripped out of the mast bath/closet, ugh.

Since Dennis ended up doing all of the finish work on this--he also used the extra mosaic to do a nice tile border for me around the room. It really accentuates the pretty colors and adds a lot to the tiny room.

But we ended up putting a cute little pedistal sink in with a towel bar, really nice tile, and of course the girls picked purple, so Ken is painting that this week. I can't wait till it's all done for them--OH and Dennis is going to put in the old door, but as a barn door, giving the room a much more open feel.  I think it's going to go from dark and cramped to sparkly and clean!
